PUT PUBLIC SAFETY FIRST

Eleven thousand felons are set to be released early from prison in LA County in the near future. To make matters worse, the state is laying off 841 employees who oversee prisoners on parole. We need to ensure that our neighborhoods have enough police officers to keep our families safe. We are asking the City of Los Angeles to Put Public Safety First and support LAPD police officers.

The Pledge

As a resident of the City of Los Angeles who is concerned about the safety of my neighborhood and my community, I do hereby pledge to PUT PUBLIC SAFETY FIRST.

I oppose a reduction in the number of LAPD officers protecting our neighborhoods, and I urge the City of Los Angeles to maintain the strength of the LAPD by keeping patrol cars and police officers on the streets and ensuring the safety of our city and its residents.

Will you support LAPD police officers by displaying a small yard sign which is free and reads “PUT PUBLIC SAFETY FIRST”?

Here is an example:

Actual sign is 11 inches tall x 28 inches wide.
*The yard signs are specifically intended for posting on the private property of the requestor.
