Crime Prevention

National Crime Prevention Council

NCPC offers a number of crime prevention programs to address the needs and issues of different neighborhoods, ethnicities, and age groups. During the mid-1990s, the National Citizens’ Crime Prevention Campaign, with McGruff as its spokesdog, addressed the effects of gun-related violence on children. Current issues include volunteering, bullying, Internet safety, and identity theft.
